I-CAT Environmental Solutions (Pty) Ltd is a leading environmental management company established in 2013 and has a proud track record of providing environmental services to clients like Rio Tinto, Fortescue Metals Group, Atlas Iron Ore, Roy Hill Iron Ore and South 32. We are as passionate about the environment as we are about our clients.

What We Do

Our road dust suppression products include RDC20 and GreenBit. RDC20 is an innovative formulation of blended emulsified co-polymers and ionic modifiers. RDC20 is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It is not phototoxic and can be safely applied near vegetation. Being water-soluble the product is added to a Water Bowser at the recommended dosage. After it is sprayed onto the road surface, RDC20 will form a durable crossed linked matrix. The matrix will bind fine soil particles into larger heavier particles, which are less prone to become airborne. GreenBit is a blend of RDC20 and Bitumen Emulsion. GreenBit is water-soluble, the product is added to a water truck at the recommended dosage. After it is sprayed onto the road surface, GreenBit will form a durable crossed linked matrix. The matrix will bind fine soil particles into larger heavier particles, which are less prone to become airborne. With sufficient treatment GreenBit will create a water-resistant surface.
